About

The SGET chip is specifically for instrumentation and control purposes. It allows a sinusoid to be generated and allows frequency domain measurment of the relative amplitude and phase response to the sinusoid. It is designed to be used with sensors. It has a UART interface to allow interfacing. A good example of a suitable sensor is a VLF metal detector coil. The SGET also has a metal detector mode.
